Covid-19 Hurrah! Phase 1 is here

by

After a week’s delay, we are so happy to announce that as from Monday 18 May, Phase 1 kicks in. What does this mean.

Well, we can now travel to other municipalities. I can relive the joy of sitting in the same car as my partner and listening to him cursing the other idiot road users. I do hope though, that we have all learned a bit of a lesson from this and, whenever possible, favour the bike over the car.

Restaurants can open 50% of their terraces, observing the strict safety distancing rules. We have already booked our table at Garum Restaurant on the Paseo Maritimo in Marbella, oh what bliss.

The curfew is lifted and we can leave our houses whenever we want, we can exercise outside all day long, just writing this line makes me smile.

Check out my previous article below for more details on how Phase 1 will affect you.

How long will Phase 1 last, at the time of writing we do not know, maybe just the one week and Phase 2 will kick in on Monday 25th maybe it will last 2 weeks, as soon as we do know we will publish.

So hopefully this news will lift your weekend.

Thank you for reading, stay safe and healthy.
