Covid-19 latest

by

Nice to have some good(ish) news to report. As from tomorrow, Saturday 13 February 2021, restaurants and bars in the municipalities of Marbella, Malaga and Estepona, will be able to open for business.

Therefore, a celebratory socially distanced St Valentines day can be enjoyed by those that subscribe to the 14th.

The old 18:00 curfew will be in place but hey, day time business better than none.

The lessening of the restrictions is due to the fact that the infection rate has dropped below 1,000 per 100k.

The numbers are still high, in the 890s I believe but heading in the right downward trend.

Hopefully this lifting of restrictions will not result in an upward swing in the coming weeks, we shall see.

In the meantime, enjoy this freedom but please do be very careful and keep yourself and others safe.

Thank you for reading.
