For the third consecutive year, Spence Clarke had the honor of sponsoring the Battle Back Golf charity events held in Spain. Alistair, Susan, and Miguel Ángel had the privilege of participating in this special occasion, playing alongside wounded and sick men and women from the Armed Services. For these individuals, golf—and sports in general—acts as a powerful form of therapy, especially for those facing early retirement due to injury.
The three-day event took place at Los Moriscos Golf (Motril), Baviera Golf (Vélez-Málaga), and Añoreta Golf (Málaga). The events were a resounding success, with over 40 players and 20 guests and sponsors. Spence Clarke golfers joined on the final day at Añoreta Golf on 5 October 2024. It was a fantastic experience to play and share buggies with such inspiring individuals.
Battle Back Golf is a UK-registered charity, established in 2009. Its mission is to provide golfing education programs, competitive opportunities, and equipment for seriously injured service personnel, using golf as a vital part of their physical and cognitive rehabilitation.
