Professional Gathering at Kaleido Restaurant.

by

Spence Clarke, a member of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) in Spain, recently attended the Spring Cocktail event hosted by Cuatrecasas. The elegant gathering took place this May at the picturesque Kaleido restaurant, located in Muelle 1 of Malaga port.

Spence Clarke always try to support BCC events, and this time Spence Clarke was very well represented by their Technical Partner, Miguel Angel Blanca Prieto. See the centre photo below.  As usual with BCC events, Miguel Angel found this to be an excellent opportunity for networking with his fellow professionals and thoroughly enjoyed conversing and generally mixing with them.

The evening commenced with an engaging speech by Derek Langley, the regional vice
president of the BCC. Mr Langley delved into the rich history and extensive services
provided by the BCC in Spain, highlighting its role in enhancing business relations and
supporting the British business community in the region.

Following this, Marc Collier Sanderson, an advisor to Malaga Town Hall for city promotion
and investment attraction, elaborated on Malaga’s remarkable growth and its rising
prominence as a preferred destination for international investors.

The final presentation of the evening was given by Ignacio Diaz, a partner at Cuatrecasas. Mr
Diaz delivered an insightful presentation on the services offered by his firm. As a firm we
know very well, having collaborated with them on several occasions, it was enlightening to
hear about their latest initiatives and achievements.

This exclusive gathering attracted some of the most esteemed professionals from across
Andalucia, offering a prime opportunity for networking. Attendees were able to connect with
both new acquaintances and familiar faces, sharing their wealth of expertise and experiences
in a friendly atmosphere.

The event not only showcased the vibrant business community in Malaga but also
underscored the collaborative spirit that drives its continuous growth and success.
