Charity golf tournament at marbella golf resort – supporting autism

by

At Spence Clarke, we are pleased to be supporting a charity golf tournament taking place at Marbella Golf Resort on 18 June, as part of the Player of the Year 2025/26 competition.

This year, the event is raising funds for Asociación Autismo Ángel Rivière, a charity founded in 2002 by families across the province of Málaga. The association is dedicated to supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing specialist care, early intervention, therapies, educational support, and a wide range of activities designed to improve quality of life for both individuals and their families.

Today, the association supports nearly 90 families, delivering services through experienced professionals and continuing to expand its offering to meet growing demand. Future projects include the development of a multisensory room, enhanced educational programmes, and the introduction of new therapeutic initiatives. Longer-term objectives include the creation of a dedicated residence and day centre for people with autism, which would represent a significant step forward for the local community.

The golf tournament itself forms part of a wider initiative organised by GolfInfo.com, one of the fastest growing golf platforms on the Costa del Sol. The competition will bring together players in a unique format, culminating in an 80-player shotgun start at Marbella Club Golf Resort, followed by a Grand Final at La Zagaleta. Since its launch, the initiative has already raised more than 20,000€ for charitable causes in Spain.

We would encourage our clients, colleagues, and readers to take part in this event or support it through sponsorship. Contributions play a vital role in enabling the association to continue its work and expand its services. To become a collaborator, a donation of 300€ can be made directly to the charity. This donation may benefit from tax relief of up to 40% for companies and up to 80% for individuals.

Any support, whether through participation or donation, will help make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and families affected by autism.
