This year’s Spence Clarke summer party was nothing short of spectacular. On a hot and sunny day, most of us gathered early at the beach near Beso Beach, ready for a day of relaxation, fun, and celebration. Armed with beers, tintos de verano, refreshments, plenty of ice, sun cream, towels, and parasols, we were set for a perfect beach day.
The atmosphere quickly filled with energy: some colleagues got straight into a game of football, others enjoyed volleyball or palas, while those seeking a quieter time relaxed under the shade of parasols with a good game of cards. The sea was beautifully clear and just wavy enough, refreshing but not too cold, ideal for dipping in and out throughout the morning.
By lunchtime, we made our way to the vibrant El Beso Beach chiringuito, where three large tables awaited our group. Before the meal began, partners Miguel Ángel and Claudia shared a special announcement: we were also celebrating Galina’s 20 years with Spence Clarke. It was a touching moment, as Galina expressed her heartfelt thanks to the firm. To mark the occasion, she was surprised with a beautiful pair of emerald earrings, a gift that left her both delighted and speechless.
With spirits high, we then enjoyed a delicious vegan feast accompanied by wine, beer, and lots of laughter. The DJ at Beso Beach set the perfect tone with excellent music, often tempting us to pause our meal to get up and dance.
As the afternoon rolled into evening, the dancing and celebrations only grew livelier. While some of us eventually made our way home, the most enthusiastic kept the party going well into the night, finishing the extraordinary day at Starlite.
It was a day that reminded us of the incredible team spirit at Spence Clarke, celebrating not only the end of another busy season but also the people who make our firm such a special place to work.
