British Chamber of Commerce event at Puerto Banus: launch of the yacht “malex”

by

As a Partner of Spence Clarke, I recently had the pleasure of attending a particularly special networking event organised by the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain, of which we are members. The occasion marked the launch of the yacht “Malex”, presented by Yacht in Style, and was held in Puerto Banús.

The event took place on board the yacht itself, offering a unique setting to connect with fellow members and professionals. Yacht in Style showcased their business concept, which offers the opportunity to rent the vessel not only for leisure trips at sea, but also as an exclusive venue for meetings with clients or internal team gatherings, even without sailing.

The evening began with a presentation by Derek Langley, Regional Vice President of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain, followed by Martin Jupp, owner of the yacht, who introduced the concept and vision behind “Malex”.

Following the presentations, guests were invited to explore the yacht in full, gaining a first-hand appreciation of its facilities and the experience it offers. The event continued with drinks and canapés, providing an excellent opportunity to engage in conversation and strengthen connections with other members of the Chamber.

It was a very enjoyable and well-organised event, combining business networking with a distinctive and memorable setting in Puerto Banús.
