Spence Clarke were honoured to be one of the sponsors of the Men’s Mental Health luncheon held on the afternoon of Friday 21 May at the very excellent La Sala Banus restaurant.
The event was organized and hosted by the founder of MMH Marbella, Robert Orphanides.
Robert, is a very inspiring man indeed, his MMH journey began when suicidal depression took hold of him, he battled with this until one day he found himself on a balcony of a high-rise apartment in Thailand seriously contemplating jumping. His saviour, his son, who phoned his Dad just at this moment. Seeing his son’s name on his mobile screen, Robert’s survival instinct kicked in and his life was changed forever.
Robert is now a life and fitness coach to men suffering from depression. His story is one full of hope and inspiration.

The lunch was a great success with over 2,000 € being raised through sponsorships and the raffle and auction of donated prizes.
The event was made even more fun by the excellent entertainment provided by the compere, Steven Fletcher who starred in Brookside, and the singer, Mr Maph.
