As the year ends with climate change impacts, hurricanes, and the US elections, we find a little light among ourselves.
The Bowling Adventure.
This time, after last year’s wet Christmas adventure, we decided to stay indoors, rain or shine. We gathered at 10:00 AM by the 30-meter Christmas tree at La Cañada shopping centre, all wearing Santa hats. After snapping some festive photos, we headed to the bowling alley for our 11:00 AM appointment. The Pause & Play team gave us fantastic service.
We ordered drinks and set up our teams, unaware of how heavy the bowling balls would be. But the laughter that filled the air as we competed on four lanes made it all worth it. And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for—the winner of our first Spence Clarke bowling tournament crowned as the “pin-vincible”: drum roll… Javier Osorio Soria from the personal tax team!
We also enjoyed a fun final with crowned fun championship winner “the pin-phobic” Martina Navarro, manager of the commercial department.
Lunch at Casanis.
After the bowling excitement, we headed to Casanis for a delicious vegan lunch. With spectacular service and breathtaking sea views, it was the perfect spot to relax. We highly recommend Casanis to anyone in the area! As we ate, we exchanged Secret Santa gifts, guessing who each gift came from, continuing our party with fun games and drinks while watching the amazing sunset.
Party Time.
After a day of fun, some brave souls ventured to Marbella Marina for karaoke at a questionable bar. This seems to be becoming a tradition!
Legend says they had such an unforgettable time that they partied through the night.
To all, we wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and good health in the New Year!
