The festive spirit came alive at the stunning Villa Padierna, a luxurious hotel located in Benahavís, as Alicia, Miguel Angel, Claudia—partners at Spence Clarke—and Galina, the manager of the administrative department, attended the annual Christmas gala organised by Collective Calling.
Collective Calling, a remarkable charity, is dedicated to transforming lives both in Tanzania and along the Costa del Sol. Their mission focuses on supporting children who live on the streets in Tanzania and providing aid to the homeless in Spain.
Before the evening’s celebrations began, attendees were deeply moved by the powerful stories shared. These stories shone a light on the life-changing impact of the organisation’s work. In Tanzania, children who once had no access to education are now thriving in school. The gala highlighted their incredible journeys—children whose futures once seemed bleak are now embracing hope, excelling in their studies, and breaking free from the cycle of poverty.
Equally inspiring were the stories of the homeless in Costa del Sol, who benefit from Collective Calling’s mobile shower service. One individual shared how something as simple as being able to shower had changed their life. Clean and presentable, they felt seen and respected by society again. Another heartfelt moment came when people looked into the van’s mirror—some for the first time in years—and struggled to recognise themselves, a powerful symbol of the restoration of dignity and self-worth.
The evening served as a reminder of the profound difference and collective effort can make. As the gala unfolded in the enchanting setting of Villa Padierna, it wasn’t just about the glamour and celebration but also about recognising and supporting a charity dedicated to giving hope, dignity, and a better future to those in need.
Spence Clarke and their team expressed their admiration for the extraordinary work of Collective Calling, reinforcing the importance of such initiatives in creating a more caring and equitable world.
