This February, the Spence Clarke team attended the spectacular “Glamour Amour” fashion show, held at the stunning Oak Restaurant in Marbella. With heart-shaped balloons, decorative straws, and napkins adorned with hearts, the venue embraced the spirit of Valentine’s Day, setting the scene for a truly special evening.
The event, organised by the charity Collective Calling, brought together an eclectic mix of guests, all in support of a noble cause. Collective Calling is dedicated to helping the homeless in Spain and street children in Tanzania, making the night not just glamorous but deeply meaningful.
Adding to the lively atmosphere was the incredible musician Paul Maxwell, who entertained guests with an energetic mix of rock and pop classics, filling the venue with music and positive energy. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal while watching the captivating fashion show, which featured stylish outfits available for purchase at Collective Calling’s charity shops. This unique showcase highlighted the high-quality donated clothing that can be bought, giving pre-loved fashion a new life while directly supporting the charity’s work.
A major highlight of the night was an inspiring announcement from Gemma, co-founder of Collective Calling. She proudly shared the news of their second charity shop opening in Estepona, following the success of their first store in San Pedro de Alcántara. These shops not only raise funds for the organisation but also offer an opportunity for people to shop sustainably while contributing to a worthy cause.
Gemma also provided an update on their Tanzania project, where children from their home and school are graduating, making space for new students. As part of this effort, she will soon be traveling to Tanzania to select the next group of children, many of whom are victims of child trafficking.
