As you may be aware from previous articles on our webpage, Spence Clarke is a great supporter of Collective Calling, an amazing charity organization that supports street children in Tanzania and homelessness in Spain. Each year, Collective Calling organizes a charity event to raise funds for their cause. This year, the event took place on Friday, June 7th, at the beautiful Cortijo de Cortes, with the chosen theme, “A Symphony of Cultures.” The Spence Clarke team was fortunate to be part of the event. In the last picture below, you will see the funding partners Sue and Alistair, technical partner Miguel Angel, Sandra from the administrative team, and myself, the managing partner of the personal tax department.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a red carpet and treated to drinks and canapés, accompanied by the enchanting sounds of a live Spanish guitar musician. This set a delightful mood for what promised to be an exceptional evening.
We were then invited to take our seats in a small bull ring, where we were amazed by a spectacular performance featuring horses, amazons, and bailaoras dancing to Spanish music.
Following this, we enjoyed a sumptuous meal and wine, with background music adding to the ambiance. Everyone was undoubtedly having a wonderful time. Throughout the meal, we were surrounded by mesmerizing Flamenco dancers, some performing with fire.
The evening also featured a raffle and a silent auction, adding to the excitement of the event.
I am proud to share that the venue raised an impressive amount of 14.000€ which will significantly impact and improve many lives.
